The main difference between Standard Definition (SD) and 2K video formats is image quality.
Image Quality Differences
Standard Definition (SD) video has a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels, suitable for many uses but less detailed. In contrast, 2K video features a higher resolution of 1944 x 2592 pixels, providing sharper and more detailed images.
Live Viewing and Bandwidth
2K video requires more data and bandwidth. If you encounter issues during live viewing with 2K, especially on limited bandwidth, switching to SD can enhance performance.
Changing Resolution in the Psync App:
To change the resolution, go to 'Live' at the bottom center of the app. Then, find the 'Resolution' option under the profile icon in the upper right corner. Tap it to switch between SD and 2K.
Saved Video Format
Videos saved to your local camera storage will always be in 2K format to maintain high-quality resolution.
