If you're transferring ownership or parting with your Genie S, it's important that you delete the device from your Psync account. This ensures you're fully releasing the device and, if it's going to a new user, avoids setup errors and frustration.
For added security, we also recommend performing a factory reset. While a reset is required during every setup, many users appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing their data has been completely cleared beforehand.
- Open the Psync app.
- Tap the three-dot (...) icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap ‘Settings,’ then select ‘Delete Device.’
- Confirm by selecting ‘Delete All.’
- After deleting, perform a factory reset to remove all data.
