If you're transferring ownership or parting with your Genie S, it's important that you delete the device from your Psync app account. This ensures the device is fully released from your account and helps prevent setup issues or errors if going to a new owner.
For added security, we also recommend performing a factory reset before parting with the camera. Completing this step in advance provides peace of mind by ensuring all data has been fully cleared from the device.
To remove a camera from your Psync account:
- Open the Psync app and swipe to select the correct device (if you have multiple cameras).
- Tap the three-dot (...) icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap ‘Settings,’ then select ‘Delete Device.’
- Confirm by selecting ‘Delete All.’
- Once deleted, perform a factory reset to clear all remaining data from the camera.
