The 'Pan-Tilt-Zoom' (PTZ) feature of the Psync Genie S is comprised of three primary components:
- The ‘Base’ mechanism controls 'Panning' and covers a 0-346° horizontal range.
- The ‘Lift’ mechanism controls ‘Tilting' and covers a 0-135° vertical angle.
- The 'Zoom' function changes the lens magnification up to 6x.
These functions are best controlled via software using the Psync app. However, If physical adjustments cause the camera to shift its position or if an audible notification states that the camera has reached its limit but continues to rotate, follow these steps:
Power Cycle and Automatic Calibration:
- Launch the Psync app.
- With 'Live' viewing selected, tap the (...) at the bottom right corner.
- Tap 'Settings' and select 'Camera Settings.'
- Locate 'PTZ Calibration' and tap 'Click Start.'
Or simply power off the camera, wait briefly, then power back on. The automatic calibration will engage and restore the PTZ to the default position.
Minimize Physical Adjustments:
To prevent issues, limit physical manipulation of PTZ. For precision performance, use the Psync app for controlled, incremental changes.
