The Psync Genie S operates exclusively on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and does not support the 5 GHz band. This should not be confused with 5G cellular networks. While your smartphone may use 5G or 4G for data, this only affects how your phone connects to the internet when Wi-Fi is unavailable—such as when using the Psync app to access your camera remotely.
