The Psync Genie S easily integrates with Google Home for live video access on a Google Home Hub device. Please note that the Google Home app itself does not display video from the Genie S; a Google Home Hub device is required for viewing.
Requirements
- Mobile device with both Psync and Google Home apps installed
- Psync account with a connected Genie S camera
- Google Home account with a linked Google Home Hub device
Linking the Psync Genie S to Google Home
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device.
- Tap Settings and select Add > Device.
- Choose Works with Google Home.
- Use the search icon to find and select Psync.
- You’ll be redirected to the Psync Labs authentication page—log in to your Psync account to authorize Google to control your device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
After linking, here's what you can do
- Preview the camera’s live feed on the connected Google Home Hub device
- Control the camera’s power via voice or typed commands using Google Assistant
Unlinking the Psync Genie S from Google Home
- Open the 'Google Home' app.
- Select your 'Psync Genie S' from the device list.
- Tap the 'Settings' icon.
- Choose 'Unlink Psync' and confirm the removal.
