When an event or video is captured, it is saved to the Genie’s local memory. You can view the recording in both Events and Playback. These recordings are automatically deleted over time as the Genie makes room for new footage, but can also be manually deleted.
Please note: Once deleted, videos from either Events or Playback cannot be restored.
Deleting from Events
Deleting an 'Event' clip will not affect the related version in 'Playback.'
- Open the Psync App.
- Select 'Events' at the bottom center.
- Locate the event you want to delete.
- Tap the 'Delete' option on the right.
- The event (12-second clip) will be deleted
Deleting from Playback
Deleting a video from Playback will also remove the associated Event clip. You can delete these videos individually while watching or in bulk.
Deleting from Playback While Watching
- Open the Psync App.
- Select 'Playback.'
- Find and open the video you want to delete.
- Tap the three-dot icon (…) in the upper-right and select Delete.
- The video will be deleted from both 'Playback' and 'Events.'
Deleting from Playback in Bulk:
- Tap the 'Playback' option.
- With the playback grid in view, tap the three-dot icon (…) in the upper right.
- Select 'Edit', then choose the videos you want to delete.
- Once selected, the 'Delete icon at the bottom center will become active.
- Tap the icon to remove the selected videos.
